Constantly exposed to the beautiful homes and architecture of Palm Beach growing up, Ellen Abrams’ attraction to real estate was ultimately inevitable. With a degree in interior design, Ellen brings a unique angle to the business––she understands as well as has an appreciation for the hard work of purchasing a home along with what it means to live in it. Her 30+ year career in the business possessed itself in the values she holds onto tightly: integrity and humility. For Ellen, real estate provides her with a chance to face new challenges and experiences daily; in fact, after such extensive work in the business, Ellen continues to learn and handles each challenge with ease. With her sense of humor and calm demeanor, Ellen fosters connections with clients, who end up working with her for years to come, thus making her clientele mostly referral based. She represents clients in every price range and prides herself on offering outstanding customer service. Ellen is the co-founder of The Abrams Group and is proud to have her daughter Courtney as her partner. A certified paralegal, Ellen is equipped to assist with any issues that arise during the purchasing or selling process. Ellen lives in Chevy Chase, DC with her husband and has two grown daughters. In her free time, Ellen loves to entertain friends and family, garden, read and spend time with her grandson.
Courtney is a native Washingtonian who brings experience and energy to representing buyers, sellers, and developers in her hometown. She has built a successful career, based almost exclusively on referrals, over the past eight years. An incredible work ethic, a creative approach to finding properties in a limited market, and her market knowledge give Courtney’s clients an extra advantage during the purchasing or selling process. Courtney ensures her clients have a wonderful experience and she takes great pride in helping people exceed their real estate goals.
Courtney specializes in many neighborhoods across the city, including Chevy Chase where she was raised, Glover Park where she lived for 10 years and Logan Circle where she currently resides. She works in all NW, NE, and SE neighborhoods as well as Montgomery County, Arlington, and Alexandria.
Passionate about giving back to the community, Courtney supports many charitable organizations including LUNGevity Foundation and Fair Chance, a non-profit supporting underprivileged children living in Washington.
